Show preview image 1

I used the visuals in a pocket chart and students identify which one was which. They helped with engagement.

Loved this resource, the visuals were great! The cut/ paste sorting and the flip books were my students favorite.

Description

TEKS K.9(B) Differentiate between money received as income and money received a a gift.
TEKS 1.9(A) Identify money earned as income

Pocket Chart sorting activity which can also be used to be class anchor charts to display.

Two headers - Income (money earned), and Gifts (money received)
26 long sorting cards (13 income, 13 gift)
26 shorter sorting cards (13 income, 13 gifts)
2 Flap books
1 cut/paste sorting

2 student reading booklets: (two sheets per page, run front to back and double staple, cut down the middle)
---INCOME student book, 13 pages
--GIFT student book, 11 pages

*NOTE*
While money is not typically given out in piñatas or during trick-or-treating, the point could be made that IF it was, the money given would be a GIFT, not INCOME. These are two of the examples used in the packet as money received as a gift.

ALL sorting pieces in my packets ALWAYS come with the color version AND the black/white version so you can print as needed.

Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions/requests!
